The Best Smart Phone: iPhone 3G (16GB)
There really is no stopping the gadget-making machine that is Apple. Of course, we have their ever reliable desktop computers and notebooks, the adorable iPod (available in so many kinds and so many colors), and more recently the iPhone. Today, this mobile phone has definitely swept the market and put a damper at every other brands’ success in the touch screen mobile phone biz. While the iPhone was already a remarkable phone, in June 2008, just after a year it was released, Apple came up with the iPhone 3G.
Although essentially, the iPhone 3G is the same as its predecessor, the difference lies in its 3G feature (as its name suggests). This means that the iPhone 3G is the better gadget for web-surfing. It is also probably the best when compared to other phones (that are not Apple). With the 16GB memory, it allows for practically unlimited phone book entries, e-mails, messages, and applications. The MobileMe application keeps your diary and phone book stored and updated on multiple devices. Because it’s also a music player (it has a built-in iPod), it can carry hundreds of music and videos.
It uses the Apple iPhone operating system, which according to many, is the simplest and easiest to use in phone technology. The display is 3.5 inches, with 320×480 pixels for optimum multimedia experience. And because it is a web-surfing phone, it is equipped with Wi-Fi. It also has Bluetooth connectivity. The iphone typically receives great reception, but if you have any trouble, perhaps out in rural areas, I would recommend pruchasing a cell phone signal booster. Furthermore, it is an excellent GPS mapper. If you’re still not used to the QWERTY virtual keys, the phone has an impressive text error correction feature. But no worries, in time, typing with the iPhone will become second nature.
The only downside to this phone is its very short battery life and talk time. But this is only so because of its versatility and functionality, you never really put it down anymore. The camera, too, may disappoint you. Like the first iPhone, it’s still very prone to moving and shakes. However, over all, those two are negligible, and it’s still the smartest phone in the market today. This phone is not one of those prepaid cell phones
